FALL 2024-SPRING 2025 MEAL PLANS
Spring 2025 Meal Plan Start Dates:
Resident and Non-Resident Meal Plans, including punches, guest punches and Dining Dollars, begin at Brunch on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Need to make a switch to your Spring 2025 Meal Plan, complete the change form.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY MEAL PLAN?
DINING DOLLARS:
- These funds are included with all JMU Dining Meal Plan options. The tax-free declining balance spends dollar for dollar and can be used at any JMU on-campus dining location, including dining halls, retail locations, vending machines, and concessions – purchases at the university stadium, arena & sports fields.
The Benefits:
- Since they’re tax-exempt, Dining Dollars offer guaranteed savings over cash, credit, or Flex Dollars! They also have more spending power than meal “punches” or “swipes”. Dining Dollars can be used for a guest if the cardholder is present at the time of purchase. Any unspent Dining Dollars, only in the fall semester, will roll over to the spring.
MEAL PUNCHES:

Meal punches are included as part of your meal plan. You’ll get a certain amount to use each day, week, or semester.

Duke Deals: Use your punch for exclusive menu items at participating retail locations. View our 2024-2024 Duke Deals (link it to the attachment)

Equivalency: One Punch = $7 at Market 64, Memorial Corner Bistro, and Festival Food Court
Where can I use my Punches?
- Entry into all-you-care-to eat dining halls (E-Hall and D-Hall)
- Duke Deals: Use your punch for menu items at several of our retail locations. View our 2024-2025 Duke Deals
- Equivalency: One Punch = $7 at Market 64 and Festival Food Court
GUEST PUNCHES*
- These punches can be used for guests to dine with you or if you’re running low. Only valid at D-Hall & E-Hall resident dining locations. The Meal Plan Holder must be present at the time of purchase.
